This Cookie Policy describes how cookies and similar website technologies may be used on the Korvexa Systems website. The site is hosted through Shopify, and the technologies actually present can change when the hosting configuration, theme, security tools, analytics settings, or installed applications change.

1. Purpose and relationship to the Privacy Policy

This policy explains common technology categories, their functions, and the controls available to visitors. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy, which describes broader handling of personal information in connection with the website and consulting services.

The presence of a category in this policy does not necessarily mean that every technology in that category is active at all times. Necessary technologies may operate automatically. Optional analytics, personalization, or advertising technologies should be activated only if they are intentionally configured and any legally required notice or consent mechanism is available.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores through a browser. A cookie may contain a random identifier, preference, security value, session reference, or other limited data that can be read when the browser returns to the same service. Session cookies usually expire when the browser closes. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until deleted.

Similar technologies can include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, scripts, software development kits, device identifiers, server logs, and network requests. These tools may remember settings, maintain security, measure performance, identify errors, or help an enabled third-party application provide a function.

Cookies do not automatically reveal every fact about a visitor. Information available depends on the cookie, the browser, the service that placed it, the site configuration, and whether the visitor has provided other information.

3. Categories of technology

CategoryTypical purposeChoice
Strictly necessaryHosting, page delivery, load balancing, session integrity, fraud prevention, security, accessibility, and remembering consent selections. These technologies support functions requested by the visitor or are necessary to operate the site.Generally cannot be disabled through a site preference tool because the site may not function correctly without them. Browser blocking remains possible but may impair operation.
Functional or preferenceRemembering language, region, display settings, dismissed notices, or other choices so the experience can remain consistent.May be optional depending on implementation and applicable law.
Performance and analyticsUnderstanding page use, traffic sources, device categories, loading performance, errors, and aggregate interaction patterns so the website can be maintained and improved.Should be subject to available consent or opt-out controls where required.
Advertising or cross-site measurementMeasuring campaigns, limiting ad frequency, building audiences, or associating activity across different websites or services.Korvexa Systems does not intentionally use the website for cross-context behavioral advertising. If such tools are later enabled, the policy and controls should be updated first.

Security and hosting technologies

Shopify and related infrastructure may use cookies or server-side identifiers to route traffic, detect abuse, maintain security, and deliver pages. These technologies may process IP address, user agent, request time, page path, referrer, and security or diagnostic signals.

Form and interaction technologies

The current project-request form performs validation in the visitor’s browser and displays an on-screen confirmation. The form code does not itself set an advertising cookie or transmit entered content to Korvexa Systems. Browser autofill, password managers, accessibility tools, or other software controlled by the visitor may interact with form fields independently.

Font delivery

The website may request font files or style sheets from a font-delivery provider to render the selected design typography. A provider receiving such a request may process ordinary network information such as IP address, browser information, requested resource, and timestamp under its own terms.

4. Shopify, applications, and third parties

Third-party services may place or read their own technologies when they are necessary to provide hosting, fonts, security, diagnostics, embedded content, or an application feature. Korvexa Systems does not control a third party’s independent retention period or use of information outside the functions provided to this website.

Before installing or enabling an application, the site owner should review its current data practices, permissions, cookie behavior, transfer locations, and need for consent. Removing an application does not automatically delete cookies already stored in a visitor’s browser; those may remain until they expire or are deleted.

No public cookie list remains accurate if a theme or application changes. A technical scan of the production site and its active applications should be performed before publication and after material configuration changes.

5. Browser and device controls

Most browsers allow visitors to view, delete, block, or limit cookies through privacy or site settings. Controls may apply to one site, all sites, third-party cookies, or cookies that meet a specified rule. Visitors can also use private-browsing modes or configure the browser to clear stored data when it closes.

Blocking all cookies or local storage may prevent security, preference, session, or accessibility features from working. Deleting cookies can also remove stored choices, including a previous consent or opt-out selection, so the website may ask for the choice again.

Browser instructions vary by product and version. Visitors should use the current help materials supplied by their browser or device provider. Korvexa Systems cannot change browser settings on a visitor’s behalf.

6. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Some browsers or extensions can send a Global Privacy Control signal intended to communicate an opt-out from sale or sharing of personal information under certain laws. Where Korvexa Systems is legally required to recognize such a signal and the website engages in covered processing, the signal should be treated as a request for the browser or device sending it.

“Do Not Track” is a separate browser signal for which no uniform industry response is required in every jurisdiction. The website may not respond to that signal. This does not limit any legally applicable right submitted through the contact information in the Privacy Policy.

Korvexa Systems does not sell personal information for money and does not intentionally use website activity for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Duration and retention

The duration of a cookie depends on its purpose and configuration. Some session technologies end when the browser closes. Persistent technologies may remain for days or months, subject to vendor settings, browser controls, or deletion by the visitor. Server logs may be retained separately for security, diagnostics, legal compliance, or incident investigation.

Technologies should not be retained longer than reasonably necessary for the stated function. Optional analytics or preference data should be reviewed periodically, and obsolete tags or applications should be removed from the production website.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when website technologies, vendors, applications, legal requirements, or consent practices change. The revised policy will show a new update date. Where required, material changes will also be reflected in the website’s cookie notice or preference mechanism.
